About the Club

The club dates back to 1959 and has a fine history of club and family sailing.

Chambers Island, in the estuary of the Maroochy River offers a convenient and pleasant environment only minutes from the Maroochydore CBD. A zoned area between the Sunshine Motorway and Picnic Point has been set aside for sail craft, The river affords safe and challenging sailing for both learners and experienced sailors alike with the backdrop of the Sunshine Coast and hinterlands.

Their sailing season goes from September to April and offers a variety of club racing as well as fun and novelty events.
