About the Club

The Tinaroo Sailing Club is located in Kairi, sailing on the Tinaroo Dam. The club is family oriented and races fortnightly from March to November each year.

The sailing club at Tinaroo Dam was established in the early 1960's. With an area nearly the size of Sydney harbour (and not nearly as many boats), Tinaroo Sailing Club offers a wonderful place to sail in Tropical Far North Queensland.
