About the Club

The Royal Australian Naval Sailing Association exists to encourage sailing within the Navy. We were originally established as the Australian Squadron of the Royal Naval Sailing Association in 1949, but in 1966, with the blessing RNSA, were launched in our own right as RANSA. RANSA has had a continuing history of involvement in the local Sydney sailing scene ever since.

Membership is open to all serving and retired Naval personnel, and Service membership is open to serving and retired Army and Air Force personnel. A category of membership for non-service personnel is also available.
