About the Club
Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club is one of the oldest sailing clubs on Lake Macquarie. It was founded in the early 1900s and was a 16 footer sailing club by the 1920s, although it became better known later as one of the Lake’s strongholds for VJs.
The Club sails Tasars as well as miscellaneous craft and has a strong catamaran group.
