Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron
About the Club
Founded in 1870 as the South Australian Yacht Club, the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron sits just inside the mouth of the Port River, at Adelaide's Outer Harbor.
The Squadron boasts a fully serviced marina, sheltered and economical fore-n-aft chain moorings, hard standing for smaller keelboats and trailer sailers, first class crane and ramp facilities, and extensive, professionally staffed slipways. There is a shipwright and a chandler on site. The main pontoon is social centre for member yachties, and the ideal mooring for visitors. Facilities for members, their friends and families are ideal. The atmosphere is relaxed, the beautiful clubhouse boasts full dining and bar facilities, and there's a fine library as well.
