This fast high performance catamaran has in the past enjoyed large numbers of boats in South Australia and Victoria. Currently there are very few Stingrays still actively racing, though many are still in South Australian sheds and are still dusted off for large regattas on the Murray River.

History
Designed by Geoff Clarke, Bruce Hitchman, Dave Passenger, and James Ray in the 1960's. The rig was given upgrade in the 1980's with a taller wingmast and increased sail area.
