The Sonar is one-design keelboat that has something in it for everybody. Although it is a high-performance racer, the Sonar is also a comfortable as a day sailor. The boat is wide and heavily ballasted making it stable and eliminating the need for hiking.
The International Foundation for Disabled Sailing (IFDS) has endorsed the Sonar for use in World Championships and Paralympic regattas until at least 2004.
"the Sonar is the best designed club racing keelboat we've ever seen."Practical Sailor
