The Payne-Mortlock Sailing Canoe, based on Uffa Fox's Brynhild design, was co-designed by Alan Payne of Gretel and Gretel II fame.\
The Canoe remains one of the few purely Australian designed senior classes
Despite being widely sailed around Australia in the past, today, the PM Canoe is today raced almost exclusively at the Brighton & Seacliff Yacht Club.
