Nacra InsigniaThe Nacra Class Catamarans.

The Nacra are a range of sports and leisure catamarans built in the US by Performance Catamarans and in Australia by the Brisbane Catamaran Centre.

The International Nacra Class Catamarans are all one design manufacturers classes. The rules, official plans and specifications of the class are intended to ensure that the catamarans are as near as possible identical.  The ultimate intent is to encourage the use of only racing tactics and sailing skill to increase boat speed.
