The Mistral is the Olympic One-Design sailboard. It is manufactured under tightly controlled conditions by Mistral Sports GmbH.
Worldwide, there are 30,000 Mistral sailboards on the water, all of which are light, tough and reasonably priced. In the right hands, they can be sailed in wind-speeds of between 5 - 35 knots depending on sea conditions
