The
Holdfast Trainer
The Holdfast Trainer is a durable little SA designed yacht in which a large number of Australia's 8 to 15yr olds have learned to sail.
The Holdfast Trainer is a modified Sabot that in which decking has been added and the mast was stepped further aft to permit the addition of a bowsprit and small jib. These additions improved the boats performance and made it suitable for a crew of two children to learn to sail.
