The GP14 is a General Purpose 14 foot sailing dinghy built either in wood or fibreglass/plastic.
The boat can carry six people comfortably and is equally suited to recreational sailing and the more strenuous racing.
Designed by Jack Holt, one of Britains foremost dinghy designers, the GP 14 is suitable for both competitive racing and general activities. New boats are available in self-draining wood or plastic or traditional framed construction. With full rig of mainsail, genoa and spinaker it can be an exciting racing boat or with mainsail small jib a comfortable family boat.
