The 12 foot Cadet Dinghy is one of the oldest one design classes in Australia.
Each dinghy is sailed by a crew of three young sailors between the ages of twelve and eighteen years. The Cadet Dinghy has proven to be a most effective training boat - both in cost and in the competence of the sailors it produces.
The class caters for juniors up to the age of 19.
